Legal Assistant – Bussum
We are currently recruiting a Legal Assistant (m/f/x) to enforce our legal department. This person will be based in Bussum (the Netherlands) as part of our Central Services team. The Central Services team is located in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom and consists of more than 50 specialists who are responsible for the legal, reporting, accounting, tax, investor relations, technology, HR, ESG and marketing functions of Waterland.
What will be your impact?
The Legal Assistant will:
- Assist with contract management (arranging for signing of contracts and ensuring accurate record-keeping of contracts);
- Assist with legal entity management and corporate housekeeping;
- Process transactions in equity management tools;
- Give administrative support to the legal department.
The role is of a legal and administrative nature and involves working with a supportive and dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The projects you will work on offer a continuous learning opportunity.

- This role does not require previous experience, we will provide full training and support;
- If you do have earlier experience (through an internship or other experience) we would love to hear about it;
- You have a high learning ability and like to work with (legal) software tools;
- You enjoy the legal environment;
- You have demonstrated the ability to work independently and efficiently, as good project and time management is essential in this position;
- Profound knowledge of Dutch and English. If you have knowledge of any other language, we would love to hear about it.
- Bachelor of Laws is a plus.
