LionsHome was founded in 2014 in Berlin and partnered with Waterland early 2022. Together with the founders Michael Röcker (CEO) and Christoph Königer (CTO), Waterland aims to develop the company through an active buy-&-build strategy into the leading European digital commerce content platform. The vision of the group is to support consumers in their purchasing decisions across the entire customer journey through different digital publishing models (e.g. product comparison, product review, cashback and voucher sites), in different verticals (e.g. home & living, fashion, electronics), as well as across various geographies.

The group has over 80 million visits per year in 25 different countries and so far consists of the three companies LionsHome, Fashiola and Franke Media. LionsHome is one of the leading European product aggregation platforms in the home & living sector. Similar to LionsHome, Fashiola is a product comparison platform, but focused on the fashion vertical. Franke Media is a deals & coupons portal operator that has built the most-visited discount websites in the Netherlands and Belgium.
