Koole Contractors and Waterland enter into a strategic partnership for sustainable growth and international expansion

Vijfhuizen, 29 August 2025 – Koole Contractors, a specialist in complex onshore and offshore decommissioning projects, announces a strategic collaboration with investment firm Waterland Private Equity. This partnership enables Koole Contractors to innovate, broaden its expertise, and further internationalise. Together, Koole Contractors and Waterland aim to provide sustainable solutions for end-of-life assets.

Koole Contractors is active worldwide in the safe dismantling of end-of-life assets such as shipwrecks, industrial installations, and oil and gas platforms. With a strong reputation in both industrial and maritime projects, Koole offers clients a fully traceable and environmentally responsible solution for the removal and recycling of complex structures. The company has built a strong track record with projects in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. It possesses a broad fleet of equipment and specialised teams to independently execute large-scale assignments. A team of 250 specialists has operated in more than 100 countries worldwide.
