Senior Associate

We are currently recruiting a Senior Associate (f/m/x) to strengthen our Investment team in Antwerp.

What will be your impact?

The purpose of the role is to own areas of a deal and investment process with minimal input whilst delivering finalised output yourself. You will proactively contribute to the deal and investment process by managing your own timeline. You may already manage parts of a deal and investment process depending on your experience and the business area. You build and maintain strong relationships with middle to senior level staff internally and externally. You will start participating in pro-active deal sourcing with your own ideas and actively contributing to successful deal conversion, mainly in buy & build for our portfolio.

The role of the Senior Associate will be involved in:

  • Conducting market and industry research.
  • Finding new investment opportunities which you have sourced and review them.
  • Modelling and structuring investments.
  • Supporting due diligence processes.
  • Supporting acquisition and growth strategies of portfolio companies.
  • Following-up of the portfolio companies.
  • Preparing and executing potential exits.

This role is highly varied and involves working in a supportive, dynamic team. The projects you could work on offer continuous learning, increase your knowledge of the PE industry, and support you in growing your future career with us.

You will be in regular contact with new investment opportunities, as well as with existing portfolio companies, requiring travel on a national and sometimes international basis but we are always mindful to work these around your personal commitments.

Be your true self

We are seeking candidates (f/m/x) who can meet the following requirements:

  • University education, with excellent results, preferably complemented by a master’s degree
  • You will enjoy working with numbers, understanding them and telling a story from them
  • 3-5 years of working experience
  • Preference for an earlier experience in a corporate environment, strategy consulting, private equity or a corporate finance boutique/investment bank
  • You should be fluent in Dutch and English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Your personality

A down-to-earth and open team player, having strong analytical and problem-solving skills, decisive, a creative yet pragmatic attitude, initiative-driven, curious and passionate.
Well-organized, pro-active, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
You will have an interest in business and think commercially with an entrepreneurial, deals mindset.

What’s in it for you

The role will be based in our Antwerp office. We commit ourselves to encouraging true team spirit and creating an inclusive and dynamic working environment in which each team member can pursue the knowledge needed to boost their career.

Work-life integration and hybrid working are important to us.
