About Alexander
Alexander Wellhoefer is a Principal at Waterland in Hamburg, Germany.
Before joining Waterland, Alexander served as CEO of Exercite, an international corporate benefits company that was itself part of Waterland’s portfolio. In this role, he played a key part in implementing a buy-and-build strategy. Following the successful exit, he became Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Epassi Group. Prior to that, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, focusing on growth strategies and post-merger integrations, and worked at Swarovski, where he was responsible for the Americas business.
Alexander studied International Management at the University of Cologne and Esade before earning a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Bamberg.
