Axel is Investor Relations Associate, based in Bussum.

Prior to joining Waterland in 2023, Axel has started his career at the M&A department of PwC.

He obtained an Executive Master International Finance in Amsterdam and graduated as Bachelor of Laws in Leiden – both in the Netherlands. He also participated in an exchange program at Trinity College Dublin.

Additionally, Axel was founding chairman of Stichting Rapenburg Race: a fundraising event. Every year over 500 people jump in the canals and raise money as well as awareness to improve the quality of life for people living with paraplegia.
