Dr. Andreas Hönl is Portfolio Manager at Waterland in Hamburg.

Before joining Waterland, Dr. Hönl worked at Wayfair in Berlin, a global eCommerce company in the Home & Living sector. There he was leading Partner Operations for international markets, and later took the responsibility to steer Wayfair’s global Incident and Returns Management. Prior, he was management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Berlin and Hamburg, where he mainly worked in the Automotive industry. During his studies, he completed internships Procter & Gamble and a Gaming Start-up.

He received a PH.D. (Dr. rer. pol.) in Strategic and International Management (summa cum laude) at Philipps University Marburg and obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration (honors) from HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management. For a semester abroad at Zicklin School of Business in New York, NY he received a Fulbright scholarship.
