Esmée
Hoogenkamp

Esmée Hoogenkamp joined Waterland in 2023 and is Senior Legal Counsel. She is also a member of the ESG Committee. In the Netherlands Esmée is advocaat in dienstbetrekking / attorney at law and registered with the Netherlands Bar register.

Before joining Waterland, she worked for five years as a corporate/M&A lawyer at BarentsKrans and for four years as Legal Counsel (Private Equity) at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. Esmée has also been a member of the Board and Supervisory Board of the Dutch Young Bar Association.

Esmée holds a Master of Laws in Commercial Law and Public International Law (University of Amsterdam). She also completed the Grotius Academy specialisation training on M&A (cum laude), the Private Equity for Limited Partners course at the ILPA Institute and the Executive Finance programme at the University of Oxford, Said Business School.
