Fritz Keyzer is a Senior Software Engineer at Waterland, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Before joining Waterland in 2023, Fritz worked at Gain.pro, a SaaS search engine and data platform for private equity intelligence. As a software engineer at Gain.pro, he worked backend infrastructure, APIs, data collection, aggregation, and ML powered features like semantic search.

Before that he worked for Movation, a software consultancy company, to develop data focused software for logistics tax auditing; Waterworks automation, a small AgriTech firm, developing automation solutions and designing electronics and embedded software; FormulaD, a design firm, working across electronic, software and hardware to build immerse exhibitions and installations.

Fritz has a background in electronics, computer science and mathematics – having studied a bachelor’s in electronic engineering as Stellenbosch University and Computer Science & Applied Mathematics at Unisa, both in South Africa.
